B. C. Open Canoe Award - Private Course

The British Canoeing Open Canoe Award endorses your skill, judgement and decision making when journeying. You will be confident planning and undertaking canoe journeys in winds up to and including force 3 and paddling on grade 1 rivers with simple eddy lines.

We run this course as a river trip/skills day, starting at Tonbridge and finishing at Yalding.

Their are six canoe shoots which we will negotiate (assuming safe water levels), which get progressively harder as we journey down the river.
